IPTV for MLB: Baseball Every Day From Opening Day to October

The Baseball Calendar

• Late February and March: spring training games from Florida and Arizona.
• Late March: Opening Day and the start of the 162-game regular season.
• Mid-July: the All-Star Game and the Home Run Derby.
• End of July: the trade deadline, when contenders reload.
• October: the Wild Card Series, Division Series, League Championship Series and the World Series.

How MLB Games Reach Your TV

Most of your team's games air on a regional sports network, with national broadcasts for weekend and primetime games and the whole postseason. Mom IPTV includes regional sports networks from across the country, which is what out-of-market fans need to follow a team from another city.

A handful of national games stream only on apps, so it's worth checking your team's channels in the free trial.

Baseball games run three hours or more. Restart your device before a long day game so it stays responsive into the late innings.

Watching Baseball Every Day

• Create a favorites group with your team's regional channel and the national baseball channels.
• Use the TV guide's time zone setting so West Coast night games show the right start time.
• Run a second screen for out-of-town scoreboard watching during a pennant race.
• In TiviMate, our TiviMate favorites setup makes the daily routine one click.

Postseason Baseball

October baseball packs four rounds into a few weeks, often with games stacked back to back on the same day. A plan for 2 or more devices lets you keep two series on at once. Baseball is one part of the Mom IPTV sports channels, so the same plan carries you into football and hockey season, and our Mom IPTV USA overview has everything else included for American viewers.

Spring Training on TV

Spring training is where baseball fans get their first look at new signings and top prospects. Teams play in Florida's Grapefruit League and Arizona's Cactus League from late February, and many games are televised on regional and national channels. It's also a relaxed way to test your setup before Opening Day.

Day Games and Night Games

Baseball's schedule mixes weekday afternoon games, night games and Sunday matinees. On a phone or tablet, a day game can run in the background while you work. In the evening, the TV guide shows which national game is on, and your team's regional channel shows the rest.

Building Your Baseball Favorites

A season of daily games is easier with a tidy channel list. Put your team's regional network first, add the national baseball channels after it, and hide the groups you never use. Opening your player then takes you straight to tonight's game.
